US-based ice cream and frozen dessert franchise Baskin-Robbins has launched Apple Cinnamon Crisp ice cream - its September Flavor of the Month.
The new flavor features cinnamon-flavored ice cream with apple and oat chunks, and a buttery brown sugar cinnamon swirl-flavored ribbon. The company noted that Apple Cinnamon Crisp combines classic autumn flavors into one frozen treat.
Baskin-Robbins executive chef Stan Frankenthaler said the company has introduced Apple Cinnamon Crisp as its September Flavor of the Month to celebrate the change in seasons.
"Apple Cinnamon Crisp is inspired by seasonal touch points like orchard harvests and warm baked goods," Frankenthaler added.
The company is also offering the new Apple Cinnamon Crisp Waffle Bowl Sundae. The sundae features two scoops of Apple Cinnamon Crisp ice cream in a waffle bowl, topped with warm caramel praline topping, whipped cream, almonds and is finished with a cherry on top.
Baskin-Robbins' new Apple Cinnamon Crisp is available by the scoop in a cup or cone at participating Baskin-Robbins shops nationwide in September. The flavor is also available in fresh-packed pints and quarts.
Baskin-Robbins offers hard scoop ice cream and soft serve, custom ice cream cakes and a full range of beverages at nearly 7,000 retail shops in nearly 50 countries globally.
