Located on the bustling Mall Road, it is believed to be the second oldest church in North India. There is a clock on the church tower, which was donated in 1860 and is visible from miles away. Every Sunday, a huge gathering of devotees flock to the church for prayer. There is a skating ring nearby the church, where various winter sports are enjoyed during snowy season.
The Viceregal Lodge: perhaps the most famous historical landmark in Shimla, the Viceregal Lodge is perched on observatory Hill at the western end of Shimla Ridge. Initially, the building served as the residence of British viceroy Lord Duffern. But today, it has become quit a tourist attraction known for its brilliant architecture and historical importance. Only the entrance hall and the gardens are open to tourists.
The Himalayan Nature Park: This national park thrives upon its great biodiversity and has become a major eco tourism hub in Himachal Pradesh. Visitors to this picturesque park can see a number endangered species of wild animals including musk deer and snow leopards along with various species of birds and plants. Trekking here is a real bliss, letting you explore an enchanting wealth of nature. Trekking packages are offered by many tourist agencies in the city.
Shaily Peak: your eyes will feast upon unending greenery and panoramic views of Naldehra, when you take tour to this scenic heaven. Even approaching to the Shaily Peak is memorable, with paths being packed of green landscapes. Also, one can enjoy some exciting adventures like trekking and climbing at this place.
